I CAN SEE THE WIND CHANGE ITS DIRECTION

Is it just me or do you even feel the change?

Nothing is same, but none of us is to be blamed.

The sharing and caring along with the affection,

I can see the wind change its direction.

                                         

There was a time when we were feelings ex-changers,

Everything we had is lost and finally we are strangers.

I am compelled to think if we ever had some connection?

Somehow, I see the wind change its direction.

I know you will never know what you meant to me,

Feelings got deep, even harder for me to agree.

I was horrified, afraid even from the thought of your rejection,

Coz, I had already seen the wind change its direction.

As you were gone, it felt like my heart almost stopped.

My dreams were crushed, will for living eventually dropped.

It was impossible for me to cherish our memories collection,

As I had seen the winds change its direction.

Maybe being estranged with you has made me fragile,

But do not bother; I am strong enough to make myself agile.

I have consoled myself, I can never be your reflection,

Coz, now, I have seen the wind change its direction.

The wonderful feeling of heart skipping a beat,

I wonder if you had ever felt the time’s heat.

Your memories and your words still lingers,

The tingly feeling while you were holding my fingers.

Everything seemed perfect,

You and I like Jack and Jill filling the bucket.

Your care and love still makes me ponder,

Could our bonding have been a world’s wonder?

As, nothing remains the same, I changed, you changed.

The bonding is now lost and we are estranged.

I don’t blame you; I know you were a sincere mate,

But what can we do when we were not each other’s fate.
